MYSITE, donation form, features, languages, currencies, SmartSums, cover my fee, Gift Aid, GDPR, matching gift, monthly donation form, pricing

We (humbly) believe the MYSITE donation form, simple as it looks, is the best donation form in the world. Here's why:

  • The average donation on a MYSITE form is $184, 40% higher than the national average ($124).

  • MYSITE uses AI to increase your average donation and to rescue failed donations.

  • MYSITE has upselling tools like those used by e-commerce companies.

  • MYSITE supports 40 currencies and 6 languages.

To create your own form, go to Fundraise › Donation Forms › Create a MYSITE form. Step-by-step guide: Create a MYSITE donation form.

Below are the features that come standard on every MYSITE form. For advanced options, see Advanced Donation Form Integration and Features.

Which languages does the form support?

Donors can view the form in Hebrew, English, Arabic, French, Spanish and Russian. They switch languages from the language menu at the top of the form. Need another language? Let us know.

In the wizard you write your own texts in English, and also in Hebrew (Israeli charities) or French (Canadian charities).

Do donors see whether their donation is tax-deductible?

Yes. Donations in some currencies are tax-deductible. We show this at the top of the form.

What are SmartSums?

The form shows suggested donation sums. With SmartSums, our AI-powered algorithm, the sums are based on the last sum each donor gave. You can turn SmartSums off on step 1 of the wizard. Learn more: SmartSums.

Can donors cover the fees?

Yes. With Cover my Fee, donors can add a little to their donation so you receive 100% of it. You turn it on or off on step 1 of the wizard. Learn more: Cover my Fee.

Can donors give monthly?

Yes. Donors choose the frequency, for example one-time or monthly. You set separate suggested sums for one-time and monthly donations, and SmartSums adjusts them to each donor.

To make monthly the default, add ?frequency=2 to your form's address. For example:

  • Your form: https://<your-donation-site>/en/give/<form-name>

  • Monthly first: https://<your-donation-site>/en/give/<form-name>?frequency=2

Which currencies can donors use?

You can add up to 40 currencies to your form. Donors pick one from a drop-down list. The currency symbol next to the suggested sums changes to match.

Can donors give in honor or in memory of someone?

Yes. Donors can dedicate their donation. We automatically send an e-card, in your name, to the person they choose. You can edit the e-card text in the wizard.

How can donors pay?

Donors pay by credit card or PayPal. Mobile donors can also use Apple Pay. PayPal appears once you connect your PayPal account: Accept PayPal donations: save your PayPal API details.

Does the form check card numbers?

Yes. As the donor types, we show the card brand. We also check right away whether the number looks valid. If it doesn't, the donor sees a message before submitting, instead of a declined payment.

Does the form help with addresses?

Yes. The donor starts typing an address and Google suggests the full address, including the zip code. Address is optional, except where required (for example, donations in Canadian dollars). You can make address and phone required on step 5 of the wizard.

Can I add my own questions?

Yes. You can add custom fields to the form to collect more information from donors. See Adding custom questions to your MYSITE form.

How does the form handle Gift Aid and GDPR?

  • British donors are asked whether to opt in to Gift Aid. If the donation is £30 or less in pounds, we opt the donor in automatically, under the Small Donations Scheme (https://www.gov.uk/claim-gift-aid/small-donations-scheme).

  • Donors from the EU (or giving in euros) are asked to opt in to your mailing list, as GDPR requires.

What happens after the donation?

  • Share my donation: we ask the donor to share their support for you on social media.

  • Matching gift: if the donation was in U.S. dollars, the donor can enter their employer and get what they need to have it matched.

What else is included?

  • Rescue my Donation: if a donation fails, we email the donor in your name and try to help them finish. You also get their details, so you can reach out yourself. See Rescue My Donation.

  • Custom email confirmations: create different confirmations per project, campaign, language and currency. Go to Email confirmations in the menu. See Creating custom email confirmations.

  • Embedding: install the form on your website as an iframe or a pop-up. See Donation Form — Embedding Guide.

How much does MYSITE cost for Israeli non-profits?

  • With an Israel and International membership, you can create unlimited MYSITE forms at no extra charge.

  • With an Israel membership, you can create unlimited MYSITE forms for 49 NIS per month.

  • Without a membership plan, MYSITE forms cost 99 NIS per month.
