Israeli organizations choose how we process the donations they receive in Israeli Shekels (₪). You can change this choice at any time.

Where do I choose?

  1. In the menu, go to Manage › Emailing and Receipts › Payment processing (NIS). If you haven't chosen yet, you can also click Choose how to process payments in Israeli Shekels in the to-do list on your dashboard.

  2. The Payment processing in Israeli Shekels page opens.

  3. Select one of the options.

  4. Click the green Save button next to the option you selected.

  5. You'll see "The selection has been successfully saved." Your choice applies immediately.

What do the options mean?

Process all donations through the IsraelGives Foundation Donor Advised Fund.

  • The IsraelGives Foundation (R.A.) receives the donation and issues the donor a Section 46 receipt in the Foundation's name.

  • Once a month, the Foundation donates the funds to you.

  • Donors see "Donation" on their credit card statement.

Process through IsraelGives Payments (Starter Account).

  • Donors receive a receipt in your organization's name.

  • Donors see "Donation" on their credit card statement.

IsraelGives Payments Full Account.

  • Your organization's name appears on donors' credit card statements, and donors receive a receipt in your name.

  • You can't select this option yourself. Under the options, the page asks: "Want to process through IsraelGives Payments and have your amuta's name appear on the donor's credit card statement?" To request a Full Account, contact our support team by chat.
