Create and manage users

add user, new user, team member, staff access, permissions, invite user, invitation email, awaiting acceptance, resend invitation, delete user, edit user, user sign in, users and permissions

Want to give other people in your organization (or third parties) access to your account? You can create as many users as you need on the Users and Permissions page. Each user signs in with their own email address and sees only the sections you allow.

You can manage users if you signed in with the charity ID number, or if you are a user with the Manage Users permission.

Open the users page

Go to Settings › Organization › Users and Permissions.

The list shows each user's Name, Email, Phone and Status. Use the icons in the Actions column to edit, delete or re-invite a user.

Add a new user

  1. Click Add New User.

  2. Enter the user's Name and Email.

  3. Choose the phone country code in Select country code, then enter the user's mobile number. The phone number is required. We use it to text the user a code when they sign in.

  4. Enter a Password, then enter it again in Confirm Password. A meter shows how strong the password is. Weak passwords are not accepted.

  5. In the permissions list, choose the sections this user may open. To give access to everything, choose Select all.

  6. Click Save.

What happens after you add a user

  1. We email the user an invitation with the subject "Action Required: Approve Your New Account".

  2. Until they respond, their status is Awaiting acceptance.

  3. The user clicks the link in the email, then clicks Accept Invitation.

  4. Their status changes to Active, and they can sign in.

The invitation email does not include the password. Give the user the password you chose in a safe way. They can also set their own password with Lost Password? on the sign-in page.

The user didn't get the invitation, or the link expired

While a user is Awaiting acceptance, an envelope icon appears in the Actions column.

  1. Click the envelope icon next to the user.

  2. Click Resend to confirm.

We send a new invitation email. If the old link has expired, the user sees "Account Approval Error: Token expired". Send a new invitation as above.

Choose what a user can access

Permissions decide which sections of the account a user can open:

  • Profile Pages

  • Setup Page

  • Receipting

  • Store

  • Campaigns

  • Donation Forms

  • Donations

  • Cancel Donation

  • Recurring

  • Terminal

  • International

  • AI

  • Financials

  • CRM

  • Manage Users

Give Manage Users only to people who should add, change or remove other users.

Edit or delete a user

  • To edit a user: click the pencil icon. You can change the name, phone number and permissions, then click Save. You can't change the email address or the password here.

  • To delete a user: click the trash icon and confirm. The user can no longer sign in.

How users sign in

Users sign in on the regular sign-in page. In Charity ID number or User Email, they enter their email address, then their password.

This is the same page the account owner uses to sign in. Its address ends in /en/SignIn (Hebrew: /he/SignIn).

The old user sign-in page (AmutaLogin) no longer exists.

When they sign in, users may be asked for a code that we send to their phone by SMS. A user can update their own phone number at Settings › My Account › Profile.

Changing a user's password

  • A user who forgot their password, or wants a new one, clicks Lost Password? on the sign-in page and enters their email. We email them a reset link.

  • Settings › My Account › Change Password changes the account's main password (the one used with the charity ID number). It does not change a user's password.
