On every campaign you create, donors can choose a recurring monthly donation instead of a one-time donation.
If recurring donations are the main goal of your campaign, create a Membership campaign. In this type of campaign, monthly giving is the default and the campaign is built around it.
How do I create a membership campaign?
Start a new campaign:
Charity accounts: go to Fundraise › Campaigns › New campaign.
Fundraiser accounts: click New campaign in the menu and choose your track.
In the Type of Campaign step, select Membership campaign (people will be encouraged to make recurring monthly donations).
Complete the Build your Campaign step as usual.
In the Goal and Rewards step, set your member goal and your membership levels (see below).
Click Finish.
What changes in a membership campaign?
Monthly by default: every donation on the campaign defaults to a recurring monthly donation.
A goal in people, not money: the goal shows the number of people who joined, for example 100 out of a goal of 200.
Membership levels: you can offer different levels, each with its own amount.
No end date: membership campaigns don't have start and end dates.
How do I set the member goal?
In the Goal and Rewards step, under Do you have a goal of how many members you'd like to recruit?, choose one option:
My goal is to recruit this many people, then enter the number.
No, I don't have a specific goal, but you can show how many people have joined
Don't show a goal, and don't show how many people have joined
How do I add membership levels?
In the Goal and Rewards step, click Add membership level.
Enter the Membership Level Title, the Sum and the Membership Level Description.
Repeat for each level you want to offer.
Can I make a regular campaign recurring?
Not anymore. The option to make a regular campaign default to monthly donations is no longer available. Donors on a regular campaign can still choose a monthly donation themselves. To make monthly giving the default, use a membership campaign.
