Set-up Fee
To set up your credit card processing account (and to perform KYC), there is a ₪300 one-time set-up fee.
Membership Fee
We have a ₪199/m membership fee called the International Plan.
We have the option of a ₪99 Israel plan, but there's a supplemental 5% platform fee on foreign currency donations.
We also have the option of a Starter plan with no monthly fee, but there's a supplemental 5% platform fee on all donations.
Transaction Fee - Israeli Shekels
Our transaction fee averages 1.4% + ₪0.70 (including all credit card and receipting fees).
How are we so inexpensive?
It's because for most donations it's the donor who pays the transaction fee - not you.
The transaction fee consists of:
Platform fee of 2.9%
Credit card fee (averaging 1%)
Digital receipt fee of ₪0.70
Per-transaction fee of ₪1.20
So the base fee is 3.9% + ₪1.90 per donation. However, 64% of donors choose to cover the entire fee, meaning that the average fee that you'll pay per donation is 1.4% + ₪0.70.
Transaction Fee - Foreign Currencies
There are different fees for international donations, depending on the type of donation and country of donation. However, our average fee is as follows:
Online donations - 2.6% + 30¢
Checks and wires (U.S.) - 2.9%
Checks and wires (other) - 5%
Note that the standard platform fee for online donations is 5%, which does not include the credit card fee. However, 64% of donors on average cover the online transaction fee, so the average fee on the online donation (including credit card fee) is 2.6% + 30¢
Other fees - Foreign Currencies
Application fees - Canada, France, Australia
If you apply to fundraise through our French, Canadian, or Australian partners, a ₪1000 one-time application fee will apply.
Ineligibility supplement
If you receive a foreign currency donation before your application was approved, a 2.5% fee will apply.
Other fees that may apply
Installments
When you receive a donation in installments, a 1% fee will apply.
Our Paypal account
If you don't connect your own Paypal account and use ours, a 1% fee will apply.
Recurring donations
When you receive at least ₪200 a month in recurring donations, we'll start charging you ₪99 a month to update your credit cards.
Refunds and chargebacks
Israeli credit card companies charge a ₪10 fee on refunds. All companies charge a $15 fee on chargebacks.
Bank transfer
When we transfer you funds, we'll charge a ₪5 fee for each MASAV wire transfer.
MYSITE donation form
On the International plan you can create unlimited MYSITE donation forms free of charge. On the Israel plan usage of the MYSITE platform is ₪49/m. On the Starter plan usage of the MYSITE platform is ₪99/m.
