International Fundraising: Eligibility

international, global, cross-border

Updated this week

Our platform specializes in helping you to fundraise internationally. We support donating in 135 currencies, and provide donation forms and campaigns in 9 different languages.

By default, all donations are made directly to your charity, and thus will only be tax-deductible if your charity in incorporated in that respective country, as you'll be issuing the receipt.

However, you have the option of linking a particular currency to a charitable organization in a country where you have a fundraising partnership. For example, if you're a Canadian charity and have a partnership with a U.S. sister charity - or if you're an Israeli charity and have a partnership with a "Friends-of" organization - we can configure payments in that currency to be processed by your relevant partner.

So for example, if Toronto's Hospital for Sick Kids, wants donations in U.S. dollars to be U.S. tax-deductible, they would connect the USD currency to "Friends of The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Inc.", a U.S. 501c3 organization with whom they work in partnership.

What if you don't have a charitable partner in a country in which you wish to fundraise?

We work with a network of charitable organizations around the world that can support your organization. Working with each partner is subject to the organization's criteria of support, as well as local laws and regulations.

How do I apply for eligibility?

You can apply though your platform account, in the "International" section:

Please note that to process with our international partner charities, you must be processing with us for your home currency. So if you're an American charity that wants to fundraise in Canada, you need to be using us as your main payment method for our American fundraising.
