Fees and Donation Export

On every donation that we process, we collect a fee. These fees are deducted from the funds raised, and paid out to you every two weeks (USD) or every month (other currencies).

To see what are the fees that we charge and that are included in each invoice, do the following:

  1. Go to the All Donations page of your account.

  2. Filter donations by type, invoice, or payout.

  3. Then, at the bottom of the page, enter your email address and download the results to Excel.

Here's an explanation of some of the fields that you'll see:

Language

The language of the donation form that the donor donated on.

Extra donation

If the donor chose to increase their donation to cover the fee that you'd otherwise pay, thw sum they added will appear here.

Our fee

Our platform fee. The breakdown of the fee appears later in the Excel.

Net Regrant

If you received a donation from our international partner, this is the net amount of the donation that they're regranted (the donation less applicable fees).

Exchange rate

The rate on which the international donation was exchanged.

Payout amount

Net regrant converted into your currency.

Invoice number

If an invoice was issue for this donation, the invoice number will appear here.

Payout ID, Payout Date, Paid out by

If the donation was part of a Payout, the number will appear here, along with the Payout Date, and the name of the international partner who paid out the funds.

Fee breakdown

For your convenience, we then show you all possible elements of "Our fee":

  • Platform fee: The percentage-based fee that we charge (ex. 1.9%) per donation

  • Per-transaction fee

  • PDF receipt fee

  • No eligibility fee: If you received a donation through our international partner before you were eligible to receive the donation.

  • Membership plan supplement

  • Used our account: if a donation was processed through our main merchant account

  • Installments fee

  • Refund, Chargeback fee

  • Tip: If the donor left a tip for us, the sum will appear here (it's included as part of your donation sum, and our fee).

Other donation fields

  • Receipt number

  • Allocation number

  • Installments

  • Payment ID

  • Refunded donation: If the transaction is a refund, then the ID of the donation that was refunded will appear here.

Donors fields

Then, you'll have a large set of donor fields, including title, name, address, email address, phone number, IP address, ID number.

Payment fields

The last 4 digits of the credit card used, the card's expiry date, the receipt number, receipt number, etc.

Allocation fields

The donation form, campaign, and project that they donated to.

Dedication fields

The name and contact details of the person in whose name they donated.

Reward fields

If you offered donation rewards, the purchase details will appear here.

Other fields

  • GDPR - opt in: If the donor was in the UK or EU, whether or not they opted into GDPR (allowed you to communicate with them).

  • Round Up: Whether they opted in to the Round Up program.

  • First donation? If "Yes", this means that this is the first time that this donor gave to you. A blank result means that it's not the donor's first donation.

  • Gift card ID: If you received this donation as part of the redemption of a Gift Card, the ID of the gift card will appear here
